Indexing Service search engine

There's a little gem hidden in Windows XP -- it's the Indexing Service query form which allows you to do a text search in your computer quickly and easily. It's a Microsoft Management Console "snap-in" found at "ciadv.msc" in the Windows System32 folder. Double-click the icon to open the snap-in. Then to access the form, double-click System, then Query the Catalog. Although this form does the same thing as the Search function in Windows XP, using the Indexing Service is <em>much faster, it takes just a second or two for the results to display.
